"In this piece, I aimed to capture the contradiction between the inner and outer world of the modern man. Here, the penis is not merely a biological feature, but a metaphor for the ego, which can become inflated and distorted. Surrounded by the repeatedly inscribed word 'ego,' the symbol becomes an ironic commentary on the importance we assign to masculinity and how this exaggerated significance can be harmful. An ego that identifies with physical masculinity may become warped, distancing itself from the true essence of a person, from his emotions, and from genuine connections with others."
